1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CoinDojo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CoinDojo is a cryptocurrency trading simulator for educational purposes only. The App provides:

Virtual trading with simulated money ($1,000 starting balance)
Real-time cryptocurrency price data
Portfolio tracking and performance analytics
Educational content about cryptocurrency trading
Leaderboard competition with other users

3. No Real Money or Financial Advice

IMPORTANT: CoinDojo does NOT involve real money, real cryptocurrency, or real financial transactions. All trading within the App is simulated using virtual currency that has no real-world value.

The App does NOT provide financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of professional advice. Nothing in the App should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any cryptocurrency or other financial instrument.

4. Educational Purpose Only

CoinDojo is designed purely for educational and entertainment purposes. Users should:

NOT make real investment decisions based on the App
Consult licensed financial advisors before real trading
Understand that simulated results do not guarantee real-world performance
Be aware that real cryptocurrency trading involves significant risk of loss

5. User Accounts

You may create an account using anonymous authentication. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
All activities that occur under your account
Choosing an appropriate username (no offensive content)

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to manipulate the leaderboard through fraudulent means
Interfere with or disrupt the App's services
Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
Use offensive or inappropriate usernames

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by CoinDojo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services for price data (CoinGecko, GeckoTerminal) and backend services (Supabase). We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party data.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that:

The App will be available at all times
Price data will be accurate or real-time
The App will be free from errors or bugs

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL COINDOJO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
